PC and Net Help...do you wish someone would explain how to do this or that on your PC in just plain English? Wouldn't it be great to find easy-to-understand answers about new stuff on the net?
It just occurred to me while visiting Joe Robson's
The Newbie Club,
that some of you may benefit from this Web site as well. The Newbie Club helps non-techie folks like me understand the mysteries of my PC. Everything I ever wanted to know about the Internet is explained in plain English! It's the best PC and Net Help I've found.
Humorous, "Everyday-Speak"
Joe Robson has an uncanny ability to translate complicated technical "jargon" into "everyday-speak." When you read Newbie Club articles and tutorials, it is almost as if Joe is sitting and chatting with you at your kitcken table. He has a quirky sense of humor including some witty sarcasm but that just makes it all the more fun to learn from him.
Let's face it, even if you are PC and Internet savvy, there is something new to learn about nearly every minute on the Web! Even if you are using
Site Build It!
to build your Web site, you still need to keep up with all the latest goings on. For example, do you know what an RSS Feed is? How about XML? Bogging? I didn't. Guess where I turned to get answers that I could understand? Yep, The Newbie Club...PC and Net help in everyday-speak.
Let me assure you, that if Joe hasn't written about it, then he provides resources that will explain anything you need to know under the "e-sun". Of course, if for some reason you still can't find something, just complete one of his contact forms and you will receive an easy-to-understand answer in a timely manner. PC and Net help at it's finest!

As long as we are talking about Joe Robson, I might as well tell you about some of his other highly respected and niche-applicable offerings. There are free copywriting tutorials on Adcopywriting.com which teach you step-by-step how to write to sell. (He also co-wrote the famous

Mr. Robson has a Product Supersite which offers what he considers to be the best e-books, software and web tools. Of course there are tons of great products on this site but be careful not to get bogged down by the overwhelming amount of high quality stuff. Remember what I always say, get one or two only if you NEED them and NO more! USE them to their fullest potential before going on to the next thing. Otherwise you will end up with a nice looking library which only gets visited when it needs dusting.
Guruspeak.com is another cool site which includes rare interviews with some of the world's top marketers and copywriters. You probably know that "guru" is a heavily used word which describes the Internet's most renowned marketers. If they are included in this site, you can be confident that ANY of them can become an "e-mentor" for you. Again, I suggest that you choose one or two Mentors and stay with them and only them. If they are truly a "guru" then there will be more to learn from them than you will ever have time for! How do you know which one or two is right for you? Just like any relationship, whether it is offline or online...you just know!
I know Joe has a lot of sites and I won't mention them all but one more site that might be helpful to you is Joesdeals.com. Joe offers deep discounts on products created by his internet friends and associates. I imagine with his clout that he is able to negotiate some excellent quantity discount rates and then share the discount with his readers and visitors. You have to love that! The deals and quantities change frequently but if you are looking for something specific, be sure to check here before paying full price elsewhere.
