Who is Ken Evoy? Where do I begin?!

It is because of Dr. Ken Evoy's generosity in sharing his genius SiteSell and Site Build It! Products (very economically!) with the world I have been able to build a Web site myself!

Why is this such a big deal?

Allow me to explain...

A Non-Techie Builds A Web Site

Less than three years ago, the only thing I knew how to do on the computer was e-mail and surf the net. Does anyone remember Cobol? That was the extent of my computer background...archaic!

One day I read an article about the benefits of having a Web site EVEN for a Service Business. The article intrigued me and I began to wonder if I should look into having one built for my Residential Organizing Service.

While researching, I was encouraged by another Professional Organizer to build and maintain my own site so that I would have total control. I'll admit, I like to try to control my direction but BUILD MY OWN WEB SITE??? It seemed impossible considering my computer background.

However, the more I considered it the more intrigued I became. I like a challenge, I thought. So I began a two-month search for a do-it-yourself Web site builder. I took out books on HTML, Dreamweaver, Web Monkey and a host of others. A lot of what I read was beyond my scope of understanding. I wanted to build a Web site for my Organizing Service not become a computer techie!

I began to search on the Internet and investigated one Web site building site after another. I'll admit to being discouraged once in a while but I persisted. They all seemed to be saying the same thing...you'll have your site up and running in a few hours or days and begin making money in no time... almost like a Get Rich Quick type message.

Well, we all know there is no such thing as GRQ. But I pressed on and eventually came across Site Build It!, developed by Ken Evoy. And then you Monetize willing-to-buy visitors in various ways, depending on your type of business.

How SBI! Started

So how exactly did Ken Evoy develop such a successful Product? He combines his many talents and uses them to benefit others. Dr. Ken Evoy is a Medical Doctor who has practiced emergency medicine. After this radical decision, he and his wife went into designing toys and games. Due to the success of this venture, Ken Evoy was able to achieve his goal of practicing medicine as a part-time hobby. Amazing.

In the mid nineties, Dr. Evoy became interested in the internet. Now obviously he is a very intelligent man...successful doctor/inventor. At the time he had developed yet another hobby...investing. He had begun to develop an investing strategy and needed to find a source of potential investment candidates. At this point, Ken Evoy decided that the internet was where he would find these candidates. He converted his ideas into software and logged on.

Dr. Evoy says he originally planned to use this software and the internet for his own use to generate more high-potential investments but the Internet captivated him. He learned that the Web was the ultimate marketplace.

Thinking intelligently and logically, he realized that he could reach innumerable people that might be interested in his software product. So he test marketed. Mr. Evoy claims that his software product ranked at the very top of the most-impossible-to-sell products on the net. In addition, remember this was almost 10 years ago on the Internet..kind of like a century in calendar time!

With this in mind, Ken Evoy took to the challenge. He describes it like this..."First, I could see immediately that I could control the result. I understood that if I had a great product and then designed a site that would sell effectively, and then attract targeted traffic, the project would succeed."

Dr. Evoy knew he had a great product but he did not know if he could design a site that would sell a near-to-impossible-to-sell product or if he could attract anyone that might be interested in it.
